I am writing this post today with a heavy heart dedicated to my best friend, Johnny, whose
wonderfully beautiful loving mother, Pat Coker just passed. She was an amazing woman with nothing but love to give. I was lucky enough to know her and be loved by her as well.
All of us, in this journey we call life, have contemplated, at least once or twice, our purpose here in this existence. The why am I here, the what is my purpose question begs an answer sometimes. We might have asked ourselves these questions as well :
Did we love and care enough?
Did we say all that needed to be said?
Did we make a difference?
Did we leave a legacy?
Did we truly align with our why ?
Did we even figure out our why?
I can certainly relate, as I am, to this day, still perfecting my why's.
And then one day, it hits you, it is all exceptionally clear, those questions fade away gently in the night. As it did for Johnny's mom, just yesterday. She was fully aware of her life and what she used that precious gift of time for.
Her gift to us all, was her unconditional love and faith in people, family, friends and strangers alike. She believed in the good in us all and she was always loved and respected for it.
Let someone who has had a positive impact on your life, know what they did for you. It might just help answer their why before it is their time.
